Como 1907 Signs Austrian U21 Captain: Matthias Braunöder

Como 1907 Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of 21 year old central midfielder Matthias Braunöder on a six month loan with option to buy.
The Austrian playmaker joins from Austria Vienna in the Austrian Bundesliga where he has made 16 appearances so far this season. Matthias has also been a regular fixture of the Austrian national youth team, most recently as Captain of the U21’s.
Notably Matthias was named best newcomer in the Bundesliga in 2022 and Rising Star of the Year for the State Athlete of the Year in 2023 as well as being awarded goal of the 2022/23 season.
