Brazilian Winger Gabriel Strefezza Joins Como 1907

Como 1907 Football Club is delighted to announce that Brazilian Winger Gabriel Strefezza has joined the club on loan with obligation to buy until the end of the 26/27 season.

Born in São Paulo, the 26 year old joins from US Lecce where he was also the Captain. Gabriel joined SPAL’s youth academy following ten years with the Corinthians Youth Team back in 2016. He made his Serie A debut with SPAL during the 2019/20 season before signing for US Lecce. He was one of the key figures in the 2021–22 Serie B season, scoring 14 goals during a successful campaign which saw US Lecce promoted to Serie A.

Detailing what Strefezza will bring to the squad Caretaker Manager Osian said: “Gabriel is an attacking midfielder who has the flair and technical skill to cause trouble down both wings. I am confident he will make a big contribution and I’m sure our supporters will really enjoy watching him play for Como.”
On joining the club Gabriel commented: “This move is perfect timing for me, I am looking forward to getting out on the pitch with my new teammates and helping this club get back to the top flight.”
