Meet & Greet Experience: Diego Moretti

“I bought the Odenthal collectible card to surprise my son because I know he is his favourite footballer. Until the final whistle, my son still didn’t know that we were going to meet Cas. He was so excited about the meeting that as soon as he arrived home, he showed the signed card and scarf enthusiastically to his mom and sisters.”

Diego Moretti, a young seven year-old fan of Como 1907, received the Cas Odenthal collectible from his dad, Fabio, this also gave him the experience to meet the player in person after the win at home against Venezia. Fabio tells us how it was his son who got him interested in supporting the BiancoBlu.

“Many stories start with the father transferring his passion to his son, but in our story, the opposite happened. One day, when Diego was five years old, he was walking outside the Sinigaglia stadium with his mum, and he fell in love with the stadium and asked her to bring him there to watch a match. I took him to watch Como-Monza in the Curva; we won 2-0 with goals from Cerri and La Gumina. He was so excited.

“That season we saw more matches, before buying season tickets. This year our passion made us start following Como even to some away matches. Diego has infected me with this incredible passion for Como.”
